It looks nice but I wouldn’t pay you two cents for it. Welcome to CT.
I stopped buying from the mint because they are all modern coins that are overpriced with a lower quality. I can buy from my LCS much cheaper. I...
Very nice circulation find. Congrats
I bet you’d like to spend some time searching them. :woot:
Yes it does look odd. It’s the perfect place for a bubble to burst causing zinc rot. I sure hope they are not using zinc on cents in 20008. Lol
You’ll feel different if you eat a bowl of Cheerios. LOL
They ate a terrible looking coin. The design is okay but could be better. The zinc core with a thin copper coating is what makes it poor.
Not at all even though it was $.75. Lol
I doubt your that old.
Now you’ve got it. :)
Lol, yes, I’ve seen your excitement on CT about finding a Nickel on the race track.
Not exactly sure how many Wheat Cents I have but I have 1 bag of 5000 cents that are all mixed Wheats. I’ll get to them one day.

It’s a Misaligned Die strike more commonly called a MAD. They are common in all denominations.
No, I buy the Whitman’s folders from my LCS. They sell the used ones for $1.00 each and they work fine for me. :)
Yes I do. I also have over 5000 Wheat cents that I’ve had for a long time and never looked through them.
Obverse and it looks uncirculated.
Well, the reverse is all that you are showing and it appears to be Uncirculated.
Nice but a little wear. I keep every star note that crosses my path. I don’t buy them but I do pull them from circulation.
Thanks, I had to do a little research for that.
