Unfortunately your coin is not even close to being the Doubled Die variety. A true DD 1969-S can be easily seen without the aid of magnification....
It can be all of it or it can be a part of them. Remember, the famous 1955 Doubled Die? Only the last 5 is doubled on some so it’s called a poor...
Joking around is a great way to live. And it sure beats being a grump.
That sir is very possible. :)
The way I look at it, the planchet is made first, with a piece missing. That missing piece is due to it being cut where another coin was already...
I don’t see any doubling. It sure a nice looking coin though. And if you like being a bad girl....:smuggrin:
That’s a very nice looking one. I have all of the type quarters except for the large diameter type but I’ll find one.
I don’t think so.
Looks about the same as my first one. I have a few others.
All I have is a Cent, Nickel and a Dime, all Philly mints.
They are going to turn me into a robot.
Yes. There are numerous forms of doubling on the 1972 cent.
You’re a youngster girl. Wait until you hit the big 60. Lol
Not the one you want.
Very nice find! I like it!
A great spot to make a great coin. Hard to tell but I’m thinking PMD.
Great looking coins Laurie. Be sure to follow Spark’s advice.
Plated
Weird but true. :)
