A definite Ridge Ring on a zinc cent. A nice example of one and a great educational piece but only worth face.
Sometimes it’s best not to spend money.
I hope you came across that coin in change as is definitely damaged. It’s also clad so only worth a quarter.

I do believe congratulations are in order.
Welcome to CT. I’m thinking a bezel but can’t tell from these photos.
Yes indeed. I still have another to post later and 1 more to have them all in this grade with FS on every label.
I pay less than $135 each year and have them done for me by a financial group that’s been in business many, many years. I have peace of mind.
The coin is FS in hand but the photos and the slab are to be desired. Alas, it’s the best I can do.
The page has gone missing.
I can see you’ve worn it a lot over the years. I think it’s great.
I added two more of these to my collection and it was delivered on Saturday. Only one left to go but it’s a hard one to find. This is a 1943-D...
Acid can do that quite easily.
@lordmarcovan I love that hat with all those fishing lures attached. The coins make wonderful flashers and judging by the various coins I’d say...
Definitely damaged
I doubt a dryer could do that as it’s still too rough.
I’d be at a 35-40 grade.
Definitely a keeper.
That’s Roosevelt’s beauty mark. Nice find.
