You can buy staplers that flatten the staples automatically. Wal Mart and most office supply stores sell them. Personally I use non PVC flips....
Did you notice how much gold there was? When ever I go to a large show like the Fun, ANA and Whitman I'm amazed at all of the gold and Morgans....

I would suggest PVC free 2.5 x 2.5 flips. Large enough for most ancient coins and a plenty of room on paper insert for all of the pertinent info....

Went to 4 or 5 of the shows back in the 80's. They were well organized and well attended. Bought my first clipped ( 10+%) Morgan dollar there....
