Looks like damage
Your coin just has 74 years worth of circulation wear. Copper turns all kinds of colors. Yours is nothing out of the norm.
Yeah. But clearly, OPs is not an error. Don't give false hope.
@SteveInTampa
Honestly, I've never heard of what you are talking about. That being said, over 1 billion...WITH A "B"...were minted. What makes you think that...
Why would you think it is an error coin?
Yours is one of over 1 billion minted. Congratulations.
The smallest coin I have is a Panama Pill. That is massive, comparatively, at 10mm. :P
WOW. I've never seen a coin that small. When I read 5mm I couldn't quite grasp how small it was. Glad you put it next to the dime to show. Great...
I've got the 72 DDO1, some pretty cool errors, a few other bigger Doubled Dies. But yeah, I think maybe I will just stick with 2x2s. Maybe upgrade...
I have not ever had a coin graded. I'm not sure it's worth it for me. I wonder though if it wouldn't be better to have some of my varieties...
I did used to buy one branch dunkin coffee and donuts on saturday mornings when I went in. Didn't matter. Still got cut off after about 2 years.
I never tipped with "cash" but tipped quite frequently with chocolates and other snacks. My kid even made them thank you cards. Didn't matter....

Sorry. I would call that wear and tear from 99 years of circulation. Not worth more than a bit over face value.
Clearly flat and shelf-like. MD Once you see a real doubled die (One that is more than just garbage minor stuff) you will know for sure.
I don't dance.
I can't see anything besides a slightly MAD obverse as is stated on the slab. I think I agree with @Fred Weinberg and @Rick Stachowski ....People...
Where exactly are you seeing doubling? Have you checked it against any resources?
It's a very cool find. I would love to have found one for myself :) Good start for you :)
