If all off the others are dated 1980, then this probably is as well. And that would make it copper.

It’s a real quarter minted in the US at the Denver mint. It’s also damaged and weighs light to do being exposed to a corrosive.

It’s a nice looking note and certainly worth $3.00 to me. It’s a part of history from WWII. Not overly valuable but certainly a nice piece.
It doesn’t matter how this happened or what the date is. It’s not silver, it’s clad so it’s a spender. It’s definitely damaged.
