That's a nice looking portrait!
He's protected in a 2x2 flip in my book haha. I have yet to send any coins in for grading. I probably should at some point but I don't think most...
Now that my CRHing is basically nil, I decided to go back through my big book of finds and take pictures of some of the more interesting ones....
You think? Even with the line as straight across as it is? Not that it couldn't happen I guess. Just seems odd. I was thinking some kind of scrape...
Interesting. I don't know if I'd call it a doubled die though. I am also not an expert in the minutiae. Paging @Rick Stachowski
Yours looks muchh nicer than mine...but you can’t beat the low low price of 1 cent :p
Nice toning on that bottom one. BUT, grading - as far as I know - doesn't factor in toning. Look at that coin and you can see quite a bit of wear...

It is a 72 DDO. Just not DDO 001. Take a look at my post again. I posted links to two different DDO's. 001 and 003...which does OP's coin look...
That isn't DDO 001. Compare: 001 - http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1972&die_id=1972p1do001&die_state=eds 003-...
Is that a faint seam I see on the last picture? Middle left around the edge?
