Your coin was plated with something and looks like another coin was smashed into whatever that was.
It has been scratched/worn off. You can see the scratch marks.

You are correct. They are an alloy. The lamination is an issue with the alloy. It is a planchet flaw. http://www.error-ref.com/?s=lamination

32 is just damage. The others so far are laminations which are fairly common on war nickels.
I have about $600 F/V in 40%ers that I pulled from CRH. Just waiting to off load them at the right price.
