I second that opinion. I find it to be ugly and distracting. However, each to their own. I'm just glad it is on a bullion piece and not on a coin.

It looks more like a gouge in the coin based on your picture IMO. Can you take a clearer image?
My personal opinion; if you are having trouble seeing the doubling on the known pictures, then it really isn't worth collecting. That tiny, barely...

@chrsmat71 I think the 2nd one "may" be Theodosius II. The legend I can make out looks to be "SIVS PF AVG". Beyond that, I'm pretty much at a loss.
I don't see anything besides a worn down 52 year old quarter.
