FYI, if it is above the shield, that wouldn't be a cud. That would be a die chip. CUD's extend from the rim of the coin inward.
I haven't seen many myself. The newest cent CUD I have found is 1998(normal area for CUD's and not very large) and the newest overall is 2015...
