I have a similar one. Nice find! [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Worn dies is what caused what you see.
The same goes for me.
It has MD and the cent was replated.
The date looks like 1975 to me. The edges look like it was hit repeatedly with a spoon. It’s definitely damaged.
MS-64 at best and not Full Bell Lines.
I’ve never heard that expression either. But I can really come up with a few ideas that I’m sure are incorrect. Lol
Best not to touch a coin with your fingers as they will leave a residue on the coins surface. After a time you will see a fingerprint appear....
I’m not seeing any doubling.
It’s damaged
Just looks damaged to me.
Not a doubled die coin. Welcome to CT.
Just not worth that price.
Damaged and even the edge shows wear.
Not really. I think it’s best to buy Morgan’s one at a time so you can see them. If you want a roll then buy 20 of them and place in a roll yourself..
It’s neither and it’s not a mint error.
A nice four digit repeater note. Well done @Cheech9712
That coin has seen some wear and with the face being so flat it’s possible that it was struck through grease but with the west and damage I doubt...
Welcome to CT. Basically it’s normal. Not to worry or get upset as we are here to assist you.
And I looked it up on spell check.
Separate names with a comma.
