    1849 Large Cent.

    What are your thoughts on this coin. It's a problem coin for sure. I gave $2.00 for it about 30 years ago. It was blue at that time and still is....

    Guess the grade Morgan

    To me this is one of those coins that the grade just don't matter all that much. The joy of owning such a pretty coin is where the fun is.

    Are fingerprints a negative when buying a coin?

    This is a great example of a coin that changed in the slab. Prints can take a long time before they start to show. It's a matte proof. [ATTACH]...

    Are fingerprints a negative when buying a coin?

    I'll pass on using any type of soap on coins. Water, Acetone and Xylene do the job with no risk.
