It was in the ground or something. It is not a copper dime.
That is environmental toning. Nothing more.
I will be interested in how yours turn out. I have had a 64 half in a paper flip on my kitchen window sill for about 6 months. I forgot all about...
I wouldn't think there would be any extra premium. Those are some nice looking coins with a lot of chips though. Only thing they are missing is salsa.
These are some great examples. I don't have any OMMs or RPDs...but I have found a couple of RPMs in my searches. This is my favorite one so far:...
Nice! You reminded me that I need to get the newest Sac and Innovation dollars :)
No. Don't waste your money. Like @Pickin and Grinin said, take some decent pictures and post them here.
If we made them out of a polymer like Canada or Australia for example, we wouldn't have to replace them so often. That is a benefit in my eyes....
But if someone is doing something better, why shouldn't we adopt it?
Check out the CRH thread. There are a lot of posts there. I myself, have found quite a few interesting things in my cent searches.
That is a great looking coin. Both a reverse and a mint that FFIVN and I do not have yet. Thanks for sharing!
Looks more like "OD W ST" haha. I'd consider that a greaser.
Here's a shot of one of my 99 WAMs. See how the spacing is even between the letters? [ATTACH]
You gotta realize that not every Close AM is touching. Look at the difference in the spacing of AM and ME. On a Wide AM, that should be pretty...
No. That is the way to tell on actual dates that are possibly WAMs. 1993 is NOT one of those dates. Also, that 93 is clearly a Close AM.
I'd rather have bills like those than what we have now. Why don't we bring in some American icons? Bison, eagles, our natural wonders, or other...
I agree with Chris on this one. You've only got 4 dates to worry about. Should be easy enough.
Looks like acid damage.
That's a good start.
