No. You can clearly see where it was gouged. Just damage. A die crack would be above the field of the coin. Not dug into it.
Exactly.
Minted in Gibraltar. They tend to chug out "commemorative" and "collector" coins. I can't say if you got ripped off or not since we don't know...
Dipped in acid.
I just use a pair of pliers. Nothing fancy in the FF household...but it gets the job done.
That certainly is an interesting one.
It was plated by someone after leaving the mint.
Issue with the plating. Welcome to the world of garbage Zincolns.
I like that Tacitus. I recently bid on one but was blown away at the last minute.
Yeah I normally use CC with VV as a back up. I didn't even see the die scratches on GOD until you pointed it out. Looks to be a match for the LDS...
I'm gonna put it back under the loupe. I have a 006 in my binder to compare it to. Just buried behind a billion bags of searched coins lol.
I didn't notice them before but it certainly looks like it doesn't it?
Both look to be Alexandrian billon tetradrachms. I'm on my phone right now so can't get further than that.
Looks like old blobs of solder.

Came across this guy last night in my box of cents. At first, I thought it was another DDO-003 but after looking a little closer, I am pretty sure...
I have probably 40-50 in this grade and I wouldn't expect to sell any of them for more than $1-$2 like @Danomite said
They certainly look dang close @DonnaML ! That is a great looking coin too!
I'm thinking more of a result of being struck by a worn die than being a late stage die cap. It would have to have been an almost non-existent...
Just a plating blister piece of crap and either a fool who doesn't know what it is or a person trying to scam some other sucker.
