Read this thread by Mark Feld. It bears repeating and I agree with him on all points now.
Well I only have one 1796 Liberty cap, been looking for another for my dansco album. Just have not seen the right one just yet.
Nice coin. I grade it VF-20.
Based off the pictures I am stuck between F and VF. So I split the difference and called it F15 based off the reverse. Nice pick-up.
Good Luck! My guess is it will go for over $400, about what I paid for mine. I am curious how on this...
Yep - it is. And if you are doing varieties then this is how to do it on a budget. :)
Wrong or not - I just did not like this one and I can't put my finger on why. So I stuck to a 62.
I went with AU58 cause it looks too nice to be a 60 or 62 and not quite nice enough for 64. Nice coin.
Good luck!
I would be the one asking for my pennies. I do my best to always make sure my totals include pennies. Otherwise - how will I ever get that 09-SVDB. :)
Welcome to the forum! I assume the two morgans are auctions you won? The first coin looks cleaned and is worth spot value of silver. Now and...
No copper fever here. Of course my fever is the hunt to complete my dansco album of large cents. One of these days. :)
I disagree - I would pay the same price on both ebay and heritage. Not knocking ebay, but you routinely see people buying on heritage and marking...
Nice color contrast between the 61 and 62. Nice batch of coins.
I like the G-6 grade for the coin and would not worry about any old cleaning. Looks nice to me for the price.
If I get a chance I will check it tonight.
Nice coin - very nice.
Two or three times I have been over by one and you call it what I voted. Now if you could just straighten the graders out. :)
My twisted logic - I thought 62 when I first saw it, but really not as ugly as I expected a 62 to look. So I bumped it one. :)
Ditto - I agree with what you posted.
