The "Type 1 and Type 2" only refers to the Proof SBA's and the "S" mint mark. Does not apply to P mint marks.
I think with the SBA's there is "wide rim" and Type 1 and type 2 designations. Type 1 and 2 refer to the S on the proofs, 1 being mush S and 2...
