Umm, you seriously need to take that 1944-P out of your Dansco and have it graded. It looks like a no brainer MS67 with a very real chance at FS...
What happened to 1944-P, 1944-D, 1944-S, and 1945-P? I thought this thread was posting nickels in order by date.
I'm not disputing the grade, but no way am I paying $3K+ for a coin with an obvious eye appeal problem.
I would be concerned that it would come back details for environmental damage.
