MS61
That is the ultra rare 1943-S MS67 NS nickel. Is that coin PL? Seems strange that you would have a war nickel with no step detail at all.
Oh, so we are blaming the holder now. You are claiming that the coin was white when graded and turned in slab, but only in patches? What would...
MS63, pure guess though as I have never collected this series.

The results from Cointalk are as follows: MS64: 3 MS65: 12 MS66: 6 MS67: 0 And here is NGC's grade from an NGC 5 Holder (1992-1997). [IMG]...
That is still a full step Nickel. PCGS would give it the FS designation as they only require 5 steps and NGC would give it 5FS as opposed to 6FS....

I won’t, it’s rude, and I’m rude enough already. It’s a gift. What do you think NGC will grade it if I crack it out?
Hers isn’t more desirable than yours. The overwhelming majority of modern commemorative collectors want blast white coins because they want a...
I’m sure there is a simple explanation for how a PCGS problem coin ended up in a straight graded ANACS slab. Wanting to know the story is not...
Why do I have to guess? Normal people would tell the story when the resurrect their own necro thread.
It is higher quality. The luster on war nickels is off the charts because the alloy used. Also, the coins strike better because the alloy is...
Oh, so you bought it in an ANACS holder and tried to cross (crack & submit) to PCGS. Got it.
