It does seem to have AU details but that dink could be the reason. And you are wise to not play the regrading game (at least with this coin, as...
Anacs is better in terms of fees, especially if you submit on one of their specials. And they are solid, especially when it comes to Morgans. I...
Nowadays you are correct but in the early days of grading services it was more common. At one point there were only three "common" grades:...
I would say it's a 64 (65 if lucky and 63 if the divot mentioned previously is significant in hand) ....I would likely not send this to grade. As...
I was thinking between XF 45 and AU 50....ended up going with AU 50 (no Ed Wood here :p).
MS 61 ....I could see 60 to 62 and decided to go in the middle....lots of bag marks/chatter; given that it's one of the older ANA slabs, I think...

I like these slabs as well (and have noticed the differences between generations like Burton pointed out). Below we have two Gen 4 (1991-1996)...
There was another company that used to make boxes for these called Eagle. I found an example currently on eBay (not my listing-image copied from...
That was a cool one and I'm glad it is in your collection. :)
