Take some dimes and put them partially under the cent . You have to lift that coin up ..
The image is to -plumb . We have to be able to see inside that mint mark, to know which one it is .

These years in the 80s ( DDR ) will all have the " R " in AMERICA will be doubled . That's the easy way to check for a DDR ....
