I guess I'm really lacking decent examples of the 43. Not the prettiest but it's off center [ATTACH]
Didnt you guys know? If it's Ancient, then it is has to be Julius Caesar. And you guys call yourselves experts:wacky:
Interesting thread. I think I agree with above comments on it being 66+ or 67. And I also agree that I like your current registry coin better.
In honor of Shrews I will post my favorite Morgan from my collection. These first two pictures show the coin's color in hand. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]...
Im waiting for their values to be higher before I reveal mine;)
Im afraid it is a fake. The porous and "soft" details scream that this coin is infact a cast fake.
I cant tell you why but I felt 66 here.
Here is a thread I made awhile back. Lots of examples there. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/contemporary-counterfeits.284893/
I've posted this in the Conder Tokens thread before but never here. Errors like this on Conder Tokens are really rare. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
So can we stop saying blank cent planchets are errors now?
'64 SMS right in the middle there??:wacky: I'd actually be ok with owning that. Its better than the toilet seats lol.
Barber anything and Franklin halfs are the worst. Give me a frosty Morgan over those two anyday of the week.
There are a lot of nice 1904 cents. Im gonna go kinda high say say MS66BN. I think the reddish purple color comes from toning so im saying BN...
I didnt submit it. I paid double book for a 63. I did ok so I shouldnt complain. Just annoying cause they do this alot with dark lincolns.
