I agree with you. These days collectors have to spend time educating themselves on counterfeiting. It would be unwise to spend good money on coins...
To find a 123 year old coin in circulation is, in a word, amazing.
In that environment the people that have the means and ability to grow food will be the only survivors.
I have owned several. Got them at a nice price and made decent money selling them but still regret letting them go.

Even if it would, in my opinion it would not be worth the cost of submission for what looks to be about a 30 or $40 coin.

So true. I once put together a set of Barber half's in VG 10. That was a real challenge that took years.
