The star I believe is for outstanding eye appeal, usually toning and luster combined. I am a bigger fan of the star, than the +.

The off look is the reason for the color. I don't see enough details to say what it was but I agree with the details holder.
I have a hard time seeing it pass $7500. This grade definitely has more merit than the last.
It is still my opinion that one truly doesn't know what they are looking at until they study mint state specimens.
