These are what is called a counterstamp. They are a novelty piece. I get them in change all the time. So they are worth face value.

I did. You can put it in a flip and mark it DDD. So that you have a reference, or you can spend it.
You have a classic example of DDD. Die deterioration doubling. This is a form of worthless doubling.
