If that's true, what makes it a "mule"? I thought a mule had to be a different design.
Even tap water is not harmful to coins as long as it is not allowed to dry on the coin. Blot them dry.
Look at the bottom of the 6 or the top loop of the 9.

Also, IHC's in Unc and near-Unc are quite expensive, but I got this one (slabbed) for $10 or so because it is "smoothed" (it also has a clash!)....
How about a clip on an IHC...cost me $0.25 and the guy at the flea market said it was a shame someone cut it with shears... [ATTACH]
