    I shipped a coin a sold for $14 with tracking but it didn't stop the post office from losing it. I haven't sold on Ebay for years because of that.

    I would contact Ebay and see about refunding the excess shipping costs. I used to ship coins with a stamp but I didn't charge for shipping.
