Nice find! I didn't find anything but junk so I returned my metal detector.

A shilling.
I have a silver dime Whitman folder I have working on. I notice that the later dimes look mint state. Should I get them graded? They are apart...
[ATTACH] [ATTACH] Just practicing taking pictures. This is from a private mint.
It is the coin. It looks blurry even with the naked eye.

I don't think my phone is good for taking pictures of coins. People are saying it is blurry but it is best I can do of a low grade coin.
My Red book is old but a good 1920-D is worth $12. I don't know the grade. It isn't in XF grade. I don't know if it isn't good.
I think the biggest mistake would be selling coins I should have kept.
I don't sell coins on Ebay so it doesn't apply. When I did I used scans.
No matter I bought another coin for the spot. I can't see the "S" even with the loop. The coin I bought was good and the S is prominent....
You don't have Whitman books?
I saw one that has the "S" distinct. It was sold by a seller I bought from before. He told me that he was getting Barber dimes.
I know. I wouldn't buy it. Some people will buy a coin they need.
Actually in the pic of my coin I see a light "s". I think I will just keep it in the book. The book came with some coins and this is one of them.
I don't know here is a listing with another 1901-S with no mint mark....
1901-S is a semi-key. There are a lot of semi-keys in the Barber dime book.
It was in my 1901-S spot in my Whitman book but I don't see an S.
