Are any of the early half dollars cameo?
I think the coin is ok but the image stinks. Not sure on the price but it seems high. Why would someone even use an image like that.
Is the one imaged a mint product?
One more. [IMG] [IMG]

You got it.:)
This one will always be my favorite. [IMG]
In my opinion it's post mint damage. There are several possibilities as to how it happened but it's all the same. Whatever created the damage did...
A bit of nitrogen fertilizer can do some really strange things to these.
I see it as a $3 coin from the image. Maybe it's better than that but I just can't see it.
Sorry, I got distracted:) The folks that had the coin in hand, graded it as follows. 3 at MS-64 2 at MS-63 1 at MS-60 (PCGS) From the image...
Looks to be. [IMG]
It actually graded MS-64 years ago.;) At the time I thought 63 at the least, even with the hit to the face. The original image is really close...
Great looking display. You did really good on the labels. It's tough getting everything straight. I gave up on trying to do this and just went...
Without seeing an image I would guess you would not be happy with an NGC or PCGS grade.

I don't think either coin is an UNC. The shipping price was nothing more than an honest mistake.
Why would they crack a 69 holder. Were they sending them back in in hopes of 70's?
Nice image. What was behind the slab when you took the first one?
PCGS went to $40 on all error coins. I don't feel it's worth the fee on most error coins. Just my opinion:)
Separate names with a comma.
