Welcome Scrap Metal. When I collected these I bought both. On common dates in slabs, I stayed with MS63 or better. I didn't care much for MS60-62....
The silver dollars are 90% silver. The clad half has no silver in it. I believe the $5 gold is a quarter ounce. Hope that helps.
The value is about the same. Some might pay a bit more because of the clash and others might not.
