I was reading something years ago that questioned if there really was a shortage of nickel that was great enough to make the change necessary....
I like to set the ISO at 100. Too low will slow the shutter speed.
In my opinion some coins do take a hit in grade because of prints.
Did you get the software to tether the camera to your computer? Once everything is set up you can take the shot using the mouse.
I have my best luck using one maybe two low wattage bulbs on dark copper and bronze. I like the reveal bulbs but anything will work if you do a...

Acetone baths only. Don't touch the face of the coin with anything. No need for compressed air. The acetone will dry in less than 5 seconds.
