I agree. Nice cents though. I was born in 1943 and, naturally, have looked at a bunch of them. But. I like all of them.
I don't get them anymore. But, I think there will be a collector market for them. But, not a marked up market for resale.
I'd keep it if it were mine. Worth very little IMHO.
Nice I'm with @Randy Abercrombie on this. I would like to know the story. My collecting started with my aunt giving me an 1885 nickel in 1948....
Amen. Then look at what we paid for them and what they are worth now. I'm glad I didn't expect a profit.
@Kevin Mader @Randy Abercrombie Am I seeing it correctly? It looks like 1882 to these old eyes. Is it a specimen?

Nice. I have a few such items.
They are $100 Platinum coins and sold for $1320 last year. I didn't buy any and never will.
Welcome to CT
This is a good time to learn the different possible variations. Put them in a 2X2 with a note as to what they are. Hold them for future reference....
I am still getting some generic sets from the mint; proof sets, mint sets, etc. on subscription. I think I will cancel the remaining subscriptions...
That is a great story also. It was true collecting back then. If you are interested I have a link to an early post of mine that describes my...

The majority of my early coins were found in circulation. I started in 1948 when virtually any coin ever minted for circulation in the USA was...
Yes, I see that now. Thanks.
