Say again.
Image #2 makes it look like it was messed with. All the different tilted images make it tough to judge the color of the coin.
Liberty's face looks like it was wiped.
The Trade Dollar looks real to me from the image but I didn't look it up to be sure. Looks AU-55 from the image.
If it's the only one to exist, it's not a DDO. It don't work like that. There is much you do not understand about the minting process.
Could the second strike have been out of the collar causing the offset? Interesting coin.
Please take the coin out of the holder and take an image of both sides. You will get better answers to your question.
I don't feel it's a DDO but sure everyone can see the doubling. I also don't know of anything in the minting process that would cause this look....
Those are really good images for a phone.

Looks like a really nice coin. Looking forward to your images.

I'm going to leave this thread with this. Anyone that feels it's right to ding a seller over $2 or $3 on a coin deal should find a new hobby. I...
Your coin is a Zachary Taylor Position B. I think we are talking Lincoln.
Are you looking at the spot at about 10:30 on the obverse? Looks like something is going on there.
Sorry. Just face value.
