Cool old piece.
I'm not good enough with gold to know whats real or fake. I would have to buy certified coins.
Nice image.

I'm wondering what caused the crazy look to the rims of this token. [IMG] [IMG]
Was it just like the one posted?

The 1905 is not a proof. The 1881 is AU something but it has been messed with. The color in not natural.
I need to get just one 70. Maybe I'll find a 95W at the price of a raw Silver Eagle. I here that's all they are worth.
The mint sold these in men's and ladies. They used a Mercury dime for the gals. They do have some value.
The MS-70 game comes with great risk. Vegas has a point. Be careful. I wonder what the cost of a complete set of Silver Eagles in 70 would be?
I have a 5 gallon bucket full of finds but nothing as nice as this one. The damage is minor in a way. The years in the ground did just as much...
I like the 81S. Would have guessed MS-64.
Could be from a keychain.
You might want to look at some of the commemoratives the US Mint has made.
Tough to put a value on a coin like this but it's really cool that you dug it up. I'm sure it's still worth several thousand.
He would be a bigger idiot if I could get him to sell me MS70s at raw prices. Looks like I lost my chance to be rich.;)
