the Garret 250 is a good detector... however, im not sure I would recommend it for a 10 year old.

I just got my 3 cent nickel in the mail today, and when I compared it to the silver, it was fairly bigger. why are the 3 cent silvers smaller...
a one dollar coin from 1896 HAS to be a morgan dollar. so no. still the same silver content. a picture would help a lot as to a more exact price.
