I would have to suggest eBay. There is an enormous number of US coins listed at any given time...usually between 100,000 and 120,000....
I use a 5.2 megapixel Sony camera. I also have a HP scanner but a camera is much better for coins.

I'd give a XF40 with corrosion. You should send it in to NCS to get in "conserved" then have it graded by NGC.
