Yup, that is a great upgrade, congrats. How I felt with a Lucilla I still havent shared.
Virtual tray? Pretty common stuff, Ive done it with my lucilla, crispina and 12 caesars sets.
Seeing the original post coin is from Forvm & the price, look and see the others in that range....
Its also possible it's had bronze disease in the past and thats why there is those exposed areas. They tend to leave pits after treatment.

I'd nab it for $30 too. Most of the time, porous doesnt bother me.

I happen to love the style of the 1883 Hawaiian Half Dollar. Whenever I see it on a affordable modern world coin, or even ancient, I try and get it.

Where did you buy it at? Ebay? From the photos, it does look OK to me but there is good fakes.
