A lot of coins are bought over the internet. A photo on the internet only tells you so much. Also they will be good on the sight unseen market.
I would also like to know how it was stored.
Let me just say that if that were in a PCGS slab it would increase the value greatly.
If I saw that Jefferson raw i would have my doubts. But greater numismatists than me say otherwise.
The higher devices (like the letters) are the same color as the fields. Coins do not tone like that naturally. Look at the "T" in liberty.
I think it is a pretty good idea since so many coins are bought over the internet with bad photos. As long as they have an easy to access database...
anything with a map is a no-go to me.

The bid is at $6.38. A low bid like that would be ok. I would not gamble strong money on it though.
