It looks OK to me, over buffed perhaps. But looking carefully at the thunderbolt one can see that it is probably genuine.

It's a beautiful coin op but I just don't think I could buy one knowing it's tooled. So I agree with your sentiments.
Something about them is a bit off, hard to put a finger on but I definitely get that feeling.
