Just give me what you got. If someone has a nicer coin and submits it to me, then your coin will get bumped, but I need to get this going so that...
Although I don't necessarily agree that this coin got a bump, I certainly agree about the strike. It possibly the nicest I have ever seen on a...
We have our first addition to our War Nickel registry set. Thanks Bobby for submitting a nice 1945-D. We moved up one spot.
Well I don't know if I could call 10 out of 24 close to the end, but 10 newps in 6 months is a pretty fast paced collection. This is my shotgun...
I didn't bid on it yet, but if I do, I will probably bid 15-20% over bid price (hint-hint).
Oh yeah, another toning freak in the house. Welcome to cointalk Lee. Don't worry, I softened them up for ya. Most of the members are falling in...
No, this is not a real registry set, just a fun one that I will keep track of based upon current registry standings. All I need is a photo of the...
Guys, I will accept any coin at this point, ANACS, ICG, NGC, PCGS even raw even we can agree on the grade. Please somebody send me a photo of...
This may be the only chance I get to post in this thread with my newly acquired 1987-D Lincoln Memorial Cent NGC MS66 RB. [IMG] Sweet!
This thread will be for a Standing Liberty Quarter One per date NGC registry set. If you would like to participate, please send me a photo of...
We tried the Peace Dollar registry set with very little success. This thread will be for a Jefferson War Nickel NGC registry set. If you would...
It appears that nobody collects slabbed Peace Dollars. The SLQ series is pretty big (38 coins) and very expensive. I guess we could to a one per...
I will open it up to raw Peace Dollars as long as the forum members agree on the grade. Why don't you do a guess the grade thread on your Peace...
I am absolutely addicted to Peace Dollars at this point. I think I need help. Do they have a Peace Dollar Anonymous group? Here is the updated...
Which 1924 do you guys like better since now I own both. The auction ended a few minutes ago. [IMG] [IMG] Guess I am going to have to wait...
I think we might have to give MikeFL(NGC)=Leadfoot(Cointalk) some credit for that one as well.
Bobby, Welcome to cointalk. I see more and more NGC forum members posting on this board everyday. Paul
Even after this thread a few weeks back you are going to guess that NGC limited the grade to MS64 for weak strike....
I agree about the strike, it is below average for a 1917. Look at the LIBERTY on the obverse, the shield, and the eagle detail, all very poor.
Well the scratch across the eagle's wings has to be on the holder. The one on the obverse across the robe appears to be on the holder as well.
