Either way, it's a nice looking BUGS BUNNY.
Wow. Thank you for the link to that cool old thread. Several members here posted in that thread 12 years ago. I actually remember reading it back...
Anyone know what standard ANACS used? We know that PCGS and NGC used different standards.
I looked it up. They did. @Santinidollar What is your thought? You have it in hand.
Did ANACS even put FBL on the label when this was graded?
I don't trust the ping test.
I'll guess a damaged collar.
They removed the residue and that's what you paid for. They did the conservation work. They may or may not have been able to tell if the coin had...
The obverse shows signs of cleaning but not anything that PCGS did.
I'll guess the cleaning was already there but hiding under the residue.
64
Nether coin will grade. They both have problems. Too many nice coins out there without problems.
MS-61 looks about right. It won't upgrade.
I'll trust that ANACS got it correct.
I thought that having an eagle on the obverse was pretty cool. Nice design.
I'll guess 65 but no FBL, based on the image.
I agree with the 64 grade but there is not enough detail in the images to see much about the steps.
Sorry. Large date.
I look at auction prices and adjust based on the look of the coin. Pretty coins are worth more than ugly coins.
Hope you guys have a great day.
