I'm seeing some tiny hits and a couple of light scratches. Strike is pretty good. I would call it AU something. The reverse looks really nice.

Nice coin.
Plan to take a loss if you buy a coin like this. Easy to buy but tough to sell.

Cardboard holders are not flips. They are cardboard holders. I would not use the self adhesive ones. You don't want that adhesive near your coins.
I think the first US proofs were made about 1840 something. Not sure.
