Its looks like a build up of years of exposure, on thoses spikes !!!
take a farther image of the die break in the hair, yours is to close up, hard to tell, it is a vam, just which one is it

I did some research, and I see, NGC & PCGS, are grading spitting eagles, wonder what they would think of a double spitting eagle !!!!!!
