The obverse is worn, but old low mintage silver used to get a little slack. So I was taking that in to account. The reverse is much better than G-06

The copper is usually very bright on a missing clad layer, and doesn't look at all like a rusted dime. Weighing them is the first thing to do....
I didn't say you cleaned it. It's over 75 years old, and the color suggests that somebody cleaned it.

You can't acid etch it in case it turns out to be good. Try a very bright light and a strong loupe and tilt it around.
