1865 is the most common date for this series. But a true AU is at least $60. USA Coin book says $68, but they are usually high retail.
What's the variety? A cud? I can see the value for that in MS. Any way to figure out how many were produced?
USA Coin Book is showing 73-D in MS 65 at .30 cents. Sometimes I wonder where people get these inflated numbers. With a mintage of 3 1/2 billion,...
I think Fred already explained what the deal with the cheek 5 was. Try the search box to recover the thread.
Even if the mark is the same or similar, it didn't leave the mint that way. These different coins could have been pushed up against something in a...
These mint sets are not guaranteed to contain MS coins. I think even if your 1964-D Kennedy half graded MS it wouldn't recover the grading cost...
Wrinkled $2 bill worth $2. Do you have a question, or are you just showing part of your collection? Is it the staining?
If you think there is doubling, you have to tell them. And that is a different thing (attribution) then just a grade. Since it is a details grade...
Sometimes I will get tired from digging so many holes. But as long as the targets are there, the only thing I skip are the zinc pennies. I check...
Try to just upload the photo here. It's very easy to do. People don't like to "open files" as there could be anything in there.

If the 1960 was a small date, would the clip enhance, or lower the value? And that is a nice set.
Whoops. Thanks jeffB. I gave up after the 1st photo.
The scale says 2.95 which is close enough to tolerance. 2.98-3.24 considering how old and worn it is.
Either it's "natural" toning. Or, I think the coin was gold plated at one point and some has worn off. Can't tell from the photos.
Lincoln Cent Resource is not complete. Wexler's lists DD for 1935, 1935-D and 1935-S. https://doubleddie.com/377701.html
They weren't going to get a 50/50 reward split as they were trespassing, and did not have permission to hunt and dig up relics on that land.
The 36-S is damaged and has been cleaned. The "steel" 1936 are plated as there were no steel planchets before 1943. LONG LIVE THE NECRO THREAD! YAY!
Mint state is when a coin looks brand new, no matter what year it is. And hasn't been cleaned or polished, which damages the surface of the coin....
Damaged and cleaned. Too bad. IDK what that extra goo is.
