I missed the grade, probably a good thing because this coin is a beauty and I would have gone 65. Whew, at least I'm out of the danger zone now!:D
Very nice! What kind of album was it? I've seen some really nice Lincoln collections in Wayte Raymond albums. Here's a good article on album...
One of my fav coins.
AWESOME!!!
Both right but I'm still in 8th.
YAY!
Sweet 46S!!! LOVE IT!
OOoooOOOoooOo LOVE IT!
KILLER woody!
Use the force Luke! :D
WHEW! It's scary being at #10. I got these last two right and bumped up 2 slots....about time I get some luck happening.
I agree with you, I see a 65. There's hardly a hit on that coin and the beard/portrait details are excellent for a 1914.
Stay away from "genuine" coins, we call them "problem coins" because whoever owns it....well, it's "their problem" now. LOL IMO, it's like a game...
You're in the ballpark, but you can't grade a coin looking at only one side.
It WAS plated, then the plating was removed with acid. PMD
$37k for an AU 22 plain? HAHAHAHA Not only a scam, but apparently some shill bidding....that's in the MS red range.
Looks like a PCGS slab.
Near perfect, I'm going on the high side.
I wanted to go 66, but PCGS is usually tougher.
Use this to check: WIDE AM = CLOSE FG, CLOSE AM = FAR FG
