Thre was a period of time where the Morgan dollar had substantially less than a dollar's worth of intrinsic value. This meant that after...
So, a Vegetarian Morgan?
I see some similarity on the date placement, but none of the die clash or die cracks. I'm wondering if this could be a very late stage die of 3a...
Maybe. I'm seeing some of the same indicators. Like the clash between "In" and "god": [ATTACH] Also, the clashed letter (listed on 3a as a...
I thought it would be easy to find too, but so far have struck out. Sometimes, the defining trait of a VAM is one of the less spectacular or...

Ms63. The chatter in the field is going to hurt this coin, even though it is exceptionally well struck.
Hmm. I learned that the first digits actually refer to the type (ie Morgan dollar) and then the date/mintmark within the series. Amusingly enough,...
I'll see if I can get some additional pictures. IMO it looks slightly better in hand than the pics I took captured. But, it's only a fair GTG with...
Ms64 or maybe ms65 if the slabber felt generous that day. Pretty coin!
