I have never seen a clip with that sharp of a curve. Looks like some, like it's been notched out.
As an antique collector and dealer I go with the belief that if it was made then someone collects it.

It's a very nice example of the 200th anniversary of the nation. There are lots of these out there so not much value over the face of the bill.
