I would think the die crack grew in the bottom photo.

Looks like a strong MS-65 coin, very well struck and full of luster. I see numerous Die cracks and a few die chips. Not sure what else is going on...
I would say that it was struck through grease or other debris. This is an great example due to the surface it covers. It's also s common error....
Not worth grading. Very common.
