Where do all these names come from? You find something a little different and wham, a new name for every little die crack, PMD or whatever.

The dates you mention are 1965 to 1974. If they haven't increased in value by now they never will.
I would rather have one high grade coin over a lot of lower grade ones. However it is nice to see the grade increases.
It looks normal to me. Maybe it was minted with a fresh Die so the correct number of steps are there.

First welcome to CT. As far as the coin being worthless that would be incorrect. You can spend it and get $.50 for it or sell it for it's silver...
