This was done post mint. Not a mint error. Someone counter stamped the coin after it left the mint.
This was the winning design. These were made for a Jefferson Full Step Nickel club in 2002. [IMG] [IMG]
You probably don't need to crack it. It probably just snaps together.
The matte Lincolns were from 1909-1916. These were minted as proofs for collectors. They were, as a general rule, put away and not circulated. [IMG]

Your Kennedy’s are not proof so they cannot be the Accented Hair variety.
